Subject: The truth according to science is....

..."First - anatomy. At the lower end of the bowel, there are two distinct circular bands of muscles, sphincters, one is located about an 1 ˝" above the other. These clamp down tight to prevent the passage of feces or gas. The mucous membrane lining of the rectum is not as heavy as the lining of the vagina, so it can tear quite easily and it does not heal as quickly as the vagina. Because feces, loaded with bacteria, are passing by, any tear is vulnerable to infection.

The vigorous thrusting that may occur during anal intercourse can tear the mucous membrane. This can develop into an anal abscess that can become infected - more about that in a moment. Also, if your partner has any of the sexually transmitted infections (STI's), then you could get infected through the tear. So we are talking about gonorrhea (treatable); venereal warts (treatable if external, difficult if up in the rectum); syphilis (treatable); herpes (treatment, no cure); yeast infection (treatable); and HIV and AIDS (treatment but no cure.) You do not want any of these STI's.

But wait, there's more bad news. A “fissure” is a tear up in the rectum can develop into a crack, and become infected.

It can gradually extend out through the wall of the bowel and form a channel across, through and into a nearby organ. That's called a "fistula", and it would allow feces to flow from the rectum into the vagina and out."

Sound like fun to you?

Yeah, about as much fun as getting a bacterial infection from some asshole who watches too much porn; sees men switching from the rectum to the vagina without washing thoroughly with antibacterial soap; and practices monkey see, monkey do.

When a gay man has anal sex with another man, there's more in it for them. Men have a prostate gland located where it can be stimulated by anal sex. Stimulating the prostate glad can produce great orgasms. Women do not have a prostate gland!

There's a big difference between oral sex and anal sex! Yes, oral sex used to be considered taboo and is maybe still considered "dirty" by some. But anal sex can damage your body!!!!! It exposes you to an increased risk of disease. It is NOT a substitute vagina, for it has a thinner lining and tear easier and heals more slowly. Too often, women are coerced into anal sex. And if it's done incorrectly and without the utmost sensitivity by the man, it can create great pain to the woman.

Some guys like it because they think it means the girl can't get pregnant. Wrong. The rectum is close enough to the vagina that leaks can make their way into the vagina. If that happens, a pregnancy can occur.

Some women think they can have anal sex and still remain a virgin. Well, that's really semantics, isn't it? If I were a guy, I'd really have a difficult time considering my woman "pure" knowing she'd taken it up the ass from one or more men. :)

Some women like anal sex. So what? Some women like getting beaten during sex too. Know what? For every woman who likes anal sex, there are so many more who don't that saying some women like it means very little. Yet, guys who want anal sex will only process the idea that there are women out there somewhere who like it.

You know, if you actually are a 32 woman who still gets tense during intercourse and finds it painful, you really ought to be working on that. It isn't normal. If there's a physical reason, then your genie can help you with it. If it's psychological, then by all means, get some help. Sex can be wonderful. You don't want to go all your life not enjoying it.
