I should have written, "They post here in the hope of helping people..."
I know from the old days of this forum, when there were many posts, that we *did* help some people. Fake posts are so annoying because they cause one to waste time, and make it less likely that others seeking help will find it.
Soemtimes I think that there are two kinds of people in the world, the ones who would like to make it a better place and the ones who are actively making it a worse place.
